The tech11 Insurance Platform is based on latest technologies following one principle: Generating the highest business value through-out best-in-class technologies. tech11 has a simplified and user-friendly approach to reduce traditional technical insurance complexity.

The configuration of insurance products within the product engine is intuitive, fast and does not require any technical skills. This also applies to the actuarial definition and calculation of tariffs. The flexible product structure allows the modelling of single or bundle products for private and commercial insurance business in the P&C area.

All business processes of the platform are available via API. In addition, the platform offers its own user interfaces for e.g. quotation, policy or consultation processes. If required all services can also be integrated into existing portals.

The tech11 Insurance Platform is multi-tenant, multi-currency and multi-language capable.

 Technology

The tech11 Insurance Platform is implemented in a container-based microservices architecture. The different microservices are orchestrated by a BPMS (Business Process Management System). The platform uses only the latest technology and industry standards and supports the highest possible level of automation. There is no technology or provider restriction, for example when choosing the cloud provider.

API Services:

All services of the tech11 Insurance Platform can be accessed via APIs.

Customizing Services:

Based on existing reference processes (out-of-the-box business transactions), the customer-specific adaptation and development takes place on the basis of the BPMN 2.0 standard.

Configuration Services:

The Business Workbench enables the customer-specific configuration of products and tariffs, processes and documents as well as reports and commissions.

Orchestration Services:

A BPM engine (Camunda) is used to orchestrate the individual microservices. This is where the customer’s existing cross-sectional systems or services are integrated.

UI Services:

In the case of a 100% shadow processing rate, the user interfaces (UI) are not required. Otherwise the UI services primarily serve clerks and if necessary agencies.

Business Services:

Behind the high-level business services there are numerous microservices, which are continually developed by tech11.

tech11 offers the complete cloud-based operation of the platform as a SaaS model via a German data center (Hetzner). Optionally, the tech11 Insurance Platform can also be hosted traditionally on-premises or in any cloud by the customer themselves.

The tech11 operations department is also ISO-27001 certified (last re-certification 02/2024 by TÜV-Süd) and has been operating various customer installations in production since 2020.
